Výlet do pirátské vesnice Masca, Garachico a Icod de los Vinos

Join us on a trip to one of the most picturesque villages of Tenerife – Masca. This mountain village, surrounded by steep cliffs, has retained its authentic character and unique atmosphere to this day.
Masca is often associated with the legend of pirates supposedly hiding here – this, however, is only a tale not historically proven.

We'll walk through the narrow streets between traditional stone houses, admire terraced fields and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and the ocean. During the trip, your Czech guide will share the history and curiosities of the area. You'll also have the chance to taste local specialities in one of the traditional restaurants.

After visiting Masca village we'll continue along the northern coast of the island. We'll stop at natural pools with a lava-rock coastline, drive through the historic town of Garachico, which was struck by a volcanic eruption more than 300 years ago, and also visit the town of Icod de los Vinos, where the oldest dragon tree on the island – Dracaena draco – grows.

If time permits, on the way back we'll also take a short walk through the laurel forest, which resembles a jungle. The ideal ending to a day full of beautiful views and interesting places.
